The Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue is in a fantastic location! So convenient to Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. My fiancé and I went for a weekend in December right before Christmas so we could see the Rockefeller tree, Saks light show, and Christmas window displays. Being at this hotel we felt we were right in the middle of the action, as it was so close to everything we had planned to do. You could hear the street noise at night, even though we were a few floors up, but I still slept well. The bathroom was a nice size. The bed was comfortable. We initially thought there were no available electric outlets near the nightstands, but we found USB outlets in the shelf of each night stand, which worked well to charge our phones and watches overnight. We stayed at this hotel during the end of the year for Christmas. Cons: - The front desk staff only do their job: give information and hand out the room key. They were not friendly at all, with zero warmth or social interaction. - Only one elevator works. The lobby elevator works fine for going up, but from intermediate floors the wait can be up to 20 minutes because it only fits about 5 people. Many guests end up using the emergency stairs. - Breakfast is basically nonexistent. On the first day, they left a croissant and an apple juice at the door. On the second day, there was nothing. When I went downstairs, everything was gone because breakfast is only available for one hour and that doesn't even account for the long elevator wait. - The room does not have a refrigerator. - There is an

Positive: Location, clean, hotel employees were AMAZING!! Bed was GREAT!! Pillows were great!! I slept good. Was nice being on the 3rd floor.It was amazing being able to have a KING bed. The bathroom shower was great. Allllll exceeded my expectations!! Negative: The breakfast could have been better. Maybe offer other juice choices & bagels with cream cheese.

Excellent location at a reasonable price. The rooms are small without much storage but were clean and the heat worked great. The staff was very friendly, informative, and accommodating. If we stay in Midtown again this place would be on the list for sure.

Absolutely perfect location! Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We came in on the train, which was only a few blocks walk from Grand Central. We went for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and this was only half a block away. Easy walk to Times Square, MoMA, Junior’s, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park a Christmas Market, Sacks, and many Broadway shows. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had been updated, but the paint used was not bathroom quality, so it was flaking/peeling from the industrial-look towel bars and fixtures, but everything was clean and functional. Complimentary continental breakfast is included, but you need to order it the night before. They leave it in a bag on your door in the morning. This was really nice for the parade, b
