Chesterfield Hotel & Suites

Showed up around 10:30 pm on a Friday night. Another guest said they paid for a room with a king size bed and got a room without a king bed and wasn't happy. They complained and got moved to a room with a king bed. We informed the front desk during check in that we paid for a king bed and wanted a king bed. He said don't worry we are going to put you in a suite. Ended up in a room with two double beds. Room appeared clean but very dated. Sheets may have been from when hotel was built as they were rough and seemed very old. It was our first time in Miami and we were tired, hungry etc.. Asked if restaurants stayed open late and was told no you better order your food from our restaurant before you go to your room. We declined and turns out many places were open to midnight or after.

I had a wonderful experience at Chesterfield Hotel & Suites, thanks largely to Katy’s outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Katy went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and did so with a great attitude and professionalism. It’s clear she truly cares about guests and takes pride in her work. She made my stay even more enjoyable, and I hope the hotel knows what a great asset she is. Highly recommend!

Positive: Location is good Negative: Hidden charges included which are not included at the time of booking. There was like $34 charge which paid when I reached at the hotel, this should have added in the first place. Don't try to fool people by showing less booking rates.

I am writing this review to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Chesterfield Hotel in South Beach .|Before booking, I was explicitly assured that the hotel provided 24-hour security, which was a major factor in my decision to stay, especially as a young woman traveling alone. I was placed in the first room off the lobby and was told security would be present at all hours. However, throughout the night, I personally observed that no security was present at approximately 10:00 PM, 11:45 PM, 1:00 AM, or 4:00 AM. This made me feel extremely unsafe and misled, as this promise was not upheld in practice.|For the record, I complained to the GM and they lied by saying there was footage of security personel on duty (there was not) yet they would not show it to me.

Janei was amazing I had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and enjoy nearby attractions. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the excellent service throughout my visit—it truly made me feel valued as a guest. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality. I’ll definitely be staying here again!
