Chanticleer Cabins

first time me and my wife have been here. The owners were very accommodating to our needs. We really loved our particular cabin. And the beautiful environment and trails around it. Would highly recommend staying here worth every penny.

The Tamarack cabin was very nice. The price point, however, suggests a level of customer service that simply doesn't exist. Since everything is done electronically - meaning you won't see another human being - everything is fine until you need something. A call for reservation recommendations went unreturned. Repeated texts and calls about a promised breakfast (that never arrived) were ignored until well after the breakfast time window. And even then there was no real effort to remedy the mistake. To make matters worse you have to wait until 9:30 for the breakfast that doesn't arrive. So IMO this is a flawed model. Either provide some level of customer service or drop the price point to where it should be.

A Fantastic and Elevated Experience! Our stay at this cabin was absolutely fantastic. The space was clean, spacious, and came with all the comforts of home—including modern appliances, excellent showers, a relaxing whirlpool tub, TVs, and strong internet access. The daily breakfast was a true highlight—generous, delicious, and more than enough to feed an army. The location was perfect, right in Sturgeon Bay and central for exploring all of Door County. The owners, Bryon and Nick, were incredibly responsive and communicated clearly throughout our stay. They take great pride in the property—they were often seen working on-site, and it truly feels like a labor of love for both of them. It’s especially impressive that Bryon built the cabins himself. Amazing place and will definitely be back. We stayed with another couple and it felt like home. Cabin was extremely clean, the back porch, trail to the pond and fire pit were relaxing and was lit by the owners every night. They delivered breakfast every morning and it was delicious! Owners very attentive to our needs and always available via text/phone. Thank you Bryon and Nick for a wonderful stay ♥️

Just stayed here for our honeymoon. The Tamarack cabin was beautiful and very clean. Had everything we needed for our little get away. We aren't morning people and used the polite knock at the door and fresh breakfast delivery as our alarm clock haha. We kept to ourselves for the most part but everytime we ran into the owners they were very nice.
