Both the guys at the front desk were extremely nice and friendly. There was a dry sauna which was nice to end each day in and the indoor pool was warm. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good each morning. It's one of the first areas of door County you hit when coming up from Chicago, so it's a shorter drive than the rest of the bays. It's about a 30-minute drive to the post office restaurant or to fish Bay. We would stay here again, it is also next to a Target and McDonald's which makes it convenient.

Front desk staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good - waffles with SF syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy, french toast (I didn't have any - saw it too late - already made my waffles), oatmeal packets, Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Froot Loops (GF cereal upon request), hard boiled eggs, SF syrup for coffee, apples, yogurt, muffins (in plastic bags). Hotel is recently remodeled at least it looks like it has been. Comfortable bed. The only complaint I have is the internet is bad. My iphone just kept spinning and did not open the app I wanted. However, it was good when I used it on my ipad. I dont know why it worked for my ipad and not my iphone. I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 if it wasn't for the internet.

Positive: The location was good. When we checked in, the desk clerk was great. Negative: Breakfast was subpar. Were told there would be biscuits & gravy, found only biscuits; when I asked the staff, who was sitting scrolling her phone, she stated it would be later & I should come back later. My wife went down @ 8am; there was nothing to eat.

The room was 100 degrees FH. the food was okay But when we stayed here unfortunately the hot tub was closed, but the pool was nice. Overall if you can figure out how to make it colder and your only staying for one to two nights max then 3.5 stars.

When I saw the two star rating, I was surprised. This hotel has very clean and comfortable rooms. The lobby is well maintained and comfortable. The pool could be cleaner, but the inclusion of a hot tub was quite nice. We were able to book a room quickly. The free breakfast was tasty and had a decent selection of fresh and store bought food. Nothing special, but done well. Good for a quick stay and a reasonable price.
