Beach Harbor Resort

The room looked like it was newly renovated but it was super smelly!! We had to sleep with the windows open and feel like the stink just clung on all our things when we left😡 Food was delicious! Fish boil best around! Owner was pleasant. Not worth the $600 we had to pay for a 3 night minimum stay.

Thanksgiving in Door County did not disappoint! We stayed in the Cabin Suite. Super cute, very clean and staff was great! Pet friendly too. Our pups loved it.

Our family loved the location and access to Potawatomi State Park via bike, otherwise, I would not recommend. Rooms aren't as quiet as we would like. Our first night was disturbed by neighbors blaring a TV and coughing non stop, but we were moved after we asked about it. The rest of the trip was hearing dogs barking randomly throughout. The rooms were damp and had a smell to them, and as we were checking out there was a cockroach near the door. There was also nowhere to park when arriving back to the resort in the evening.

We booked this resort based on the price and the pictures. We traveled as 2 older lady friends. It was as pictured. We had to give only 3 stars as were only disappointed with our room #19. It had a strong humid odor. It had been freshly renovated so did not expect it to be so stale and humid. |Not sure if all the rooms were like this but would advise a small dehumidifier or new AC unit. We would give 4 stars to the restaurant. We loved the soup and crab cakes. It fun to see the fish boil at Mary's Grillside restaurant. We would book again assuming we do not stay in #19.
