Worst Airbnb hotel I've ever stayed at. Room was absolutely filthy with thick black dust covering the entire window and all of the decorations. The bathroom door was hanging off of its hinges and thus wouldn't close, which basically meant pooping in front of my girlfriend. The sheets were stained and the mattress had a tag on it explaining that it was "sanitized" as part of the process of being sold second hand through the Salvation Army IN 2018! When I brought these issues to the hosts attention, complete radio silence until the end of our trip when he asked for a 5 star rating. Seriously, spend a couple extra bucks and stay somewhere that isn't completely disgusting.

It was OK nothing special. We booked through Airbnb for four nights. It’s just a small room with a full size bed, a desk, and a working bathroom. You do get a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Technically all you need but no dressers and no closet space. Also, there was only one VERY small mirror in our room that is mounted to the wall pretty high so we were not able to utilize this mirror to get ready. If you’re someone who needs a mirror to do hair, make up, shave, or look at your outfit that’s unavailable. There is a nice huge mirror in lobby. The room was clean upon arrival but did not get any service while there not even trash removal. We asked the cleaners for some new towels after day 2 and we were told no. I booked through a third party. Overall, it was okay. The room was as pictured although a bit grungy. Some of the other more critical reviews feel like a decent description. As a heads up, when I stayed, the first floor smelled intensely of air freshener and the third floor smelled intensely of cigarette smoke. The rooms have vents that go to the hallways so the scent seeps inside. If you aren’t sensitive to smoke or fragrance and want a bargain, then it’s an okay place to be. The listing I booked through didn’t have any reviews at the time and I wish I was able to look these up before I made my booking, otherwise I would’ve likely chosen somewhere else.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. John is an amazing host and provided clear instructions for checking in. He also messaged us after our first night to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was meticulously clean and quite comfortable. Aside from being a great value, the best part about the apartment is its location. Since we took day trips to different parts of the city, it was nice to stay in a centralized location. We either walked or took public transportation to get everywhere we wanted to go. Bus stops, trolley stations, and ferry terminals are only a few blocks walk from the apartment. This is a really cool place! I stayed here with my fiancé, and we had an amazing time. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The check-in process was smooth, and everything was just as described. I personally love this area in the picture as well and would definitely stay again!
