Central Park Motel

So a couple weeks back I made a reservation here cause I am about to have my lease end and I have nowhere to go. today I was supposed to check in.but that never happened instead Sherry the manager did a illegal background check on my boyfriend whom isn't living with me and told me that she is unable to rent to me. She never received his written consent or even asked me about it, She received this information regarding my boyfriend about a current tentant whom has severe mental illnesses and is making up lies due to "not liking" my boyfriend. and instead of speaking with me, got involved in my personal business and decided to "cancel my reservation". Cheapest place to stay for a weekly price. Clean, great service.

My review is based on service, only. I did not stay in the motel, but instead was provided extraordinary service by the owner, when he didn't have to. I am the new owner of a Tesla, and pushed the limits, thinking I could make it to the Super Charging station in Aberdeen. It was storming out badly, that afternoon, and unknown to myself, it depletes your battery much faster than normal. (Pushing against the rain/water on the road.) I quickly pulled into the Central Park Motel, hoping they would have an outdoor electrical outlet. The owner was very helpful, and showed me to the rear, where he had an outdoor outlet, and met me with an extension cord. My Service dog likes how calm this place makes me feel I feel safe here Everytime we have stayed. There is respectful staff. If we need a place and this one is open for more then a night they we stay. Right by the road but not to noisy. Thanks to the staff

before you get excited about the 4 stars, I hesitated to give this place anything less than average review. It’s an older hotel. Very friendly clerk. Rooms were clean, but show signs of dilapidation, water damage, mildew smell... bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were basically like sleeping on nothing. The room we had was just recently redone and you can tell they care. It’s no 5 star resort, no ice or vending machines that we could find. No information binder in the room pointing the way to one if there were any and we just didn’t see them and we couldn’t call the desk as they close promptly at 11:00pm. I’d give a 5 star for cleanliness and a 5 star for friendliness. Four stars for effort, but 3 stars for comfort and 3 stars for convenience.
