Central Motel

Very patient and respectful , clean rooms and he made sure you have everything you need and very attentive

When I first visited this hotel, the owner's wife took me to several nice rooms and was extremely hospitable. When I returned to get a room, they had already decided it would be 206. On the surface, it appeared to be okay but as time went on the dirty little secrets reared their ugly heads. | For example, I walked all the way to Walmart to get just the perfect meal and did not take the time to check the microwave. After I started eating my food that tasted rancid, I did check the microwave. It was rusted out in the corners and the smell inside leached onto my food. I went to take a shower and the water smelled funny. The water pressure on the defective shower head was so slight it was almost a trickle of lukewarm water that would not get hot.| The sad thing is I do believe

Absolutely disgusting. Roaches so bad they were in the beds. Shoeprints all over the wall. Bathtub unclean. Microwave through lightning inside when turned on. I wouldn't sleep in the bed. With the cigarette burnt blankets and roaches. And they charged me $100 a night. Hurricane Ian left me stuck there. Do not ever rent a room here. Price gouged big time for me.

Compared to other hotel/motels in the area, this is one of the cheapest around. The people who run the place have strict rules that they expect you to follow, but they are very upfront and honest about everything. They ask you to check out the room you are to recieve before you pay them so that there's no trouble after. There's cable, wifi, hbo, a swimming pool, nice beds and furniture, fridge and microwave, AC, and even a laundry room on site. If you speak to the woman who helps run the place with her husband (she's always there in the morning) she's usually willing to work with you on price if you are in a tight spot. The only reason for the semi-low rating is one problem with my room (not saying all rooms were like this) that I didn't catch until later that night after everything was do

The rooms was outdated but clean. The owners however were awful. She basically harassed my dad and I from the time she saw us. She claimed we smoked in our room which we did not and through us out. She was saying she was getting complaints when there were literally no guest there lol and the person that was actually smoking on the property was one of her staff members. If you want to get harassed and have an unfriendly experience stay here.
