Cedar Point Campground

I travel full time in my little RV so I am always looking for new places to stay between volunteering as a campground host at some places. I decided to give Cedar Point a try because it is close to Camp Lejeune Marine base. I like being near military bases for use of their facilities. I know it was off season, so the natural beauty would be waning. Still, the facility is disappointing. The sites are nice and well spaced, but the place is tired and worn. They do have electricity available but no water at the sites. There is a dump station in the campground. The bathhouse is terrible. The showers are old and unheated. Stayed ten days here. Got a good spot, that was moderately shaded. Bathrooms are clean and in good shape. My one complaint would be that you can't control the temperature of the showers. Seeing as there aren't water hook-ups at the sites, one really should be able choose how hot or cold their shower is! There's also a nice boat ramp and walking trail. Makes me wanna live closer.

Very pretty state park. Nice, spacious rv sites with Electric (only) with nearby water. Also popular even in November. Takes reservations, but terrible access if you need to speak with a person. Bathroom/showers need serious attention.

Great location. Bath house is clean. There is a dump station and near the dump station is a potable water hook up to fill your water tank. Sites do not have water hook ups.

The camp sites are very nice but that the best thing I can say. Before hand I knew sites didn't have water, but by the map I found there was a water supply right by my site. We got all set up and went to fill my tank, but the water spigot is not designed to connect a common hose to. SO NO WATER for the weekend. After walking the camp ground the sites in the back do have spigots you can connect a hose to in various locations. And there is one at the dump station area. Now for the bath house. My daughter saw a rat run into a hole behind the middle stall. Also if you like to have warm water or even control the water temp, these showers do not have this option.
