Cedar Canyon Campground

Camp ground is great. Dave the manager was great and very friendly. The sky at night is spectacular, especially from site 4. The highway is busy and during the week there are trucks engine braking down the surrounding S curve. (not recommended for light sleepers) We were gone most of the day hiking so it wasn't a big deal. There is some traffic at night but it slowed down after 9. The creek is dry but has some cool rocks in it. FYI they have pit toilets. it was a great campground, close enough to all the parks for a great price.

We stayed in the group campsite with our girl scout troop. It was absolutely beautiful! The vault toilet/bathroom was impeccably clean. The entire campground was clean and beautiful. It's a short 15 min drive up to Cedar Breaks National Monument where there is lots of hiking trails. Camp hosts were friendly. The only downside is it is very close to the highway and there are cars going by all night. Otherwise, beautiful spot!

My family had an excellent experience camping here overnight! The creek was very low or dry in most spots because we went late, and there was a fire restriction, so check before you go. But we very much enjoyed the flora of the area, all the wild flowers in bloom, the smell of pine trees, and the fresh, cool air. We would choose this campground again. The only downside was how close it is to the highway and cars and trucks going through all night, but the white noise probably helped the kids sleep, so we can't complain too much!

Very nice camping spot. Clean bathrooms and camp sites. *There is no potable water so bring water.

Gorgeous little campground just off the highway. There is a considerable amount of road noise. Minutes away from Cedar Breaks. The camp host was friendly and very helpful. Most sites are right along the stream
