Catskill Rose Lodging & Dining

We loved our stay here. The room was spotless, cozy and very comfortable. It was also thoughtfully stocked with all amenities you might need. I’ve never seen a cleaner hotel. The flowers and mountain views were beautiful. It had a very cozy, quaint feel. Great location close by Phoenicia Diner, Rail Explorers & more. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had a family wedding to attend in the area and found this place on line. It was the perfect place for a quiet few days. The best surprise was the dinner. The food was fabulous and the desserts were beyond delicious. Even if you are staying nearby, I highly recommend this dining experience. It's definitely 5 star dining. The proprietors are lovely and accommodating. Fabulous!||

Don’t come here if you are expecting a bed and breakfast like we did. It’s more like an Airbnb. The rooms are beautiful and the bed is comfortable, location is great- very close to Woodstock. You will not see the hosts. For our 2 night stay for 2 people we got 2 hard boiled eggs, a couple of scones and juice. They have a dining hall but it was closed when we were there. There is also a for sale sign in front of the property. We went to Bread Alone down the street for breakfast every day.

Not fancy, but everything you could want and more. The room was clean with a mini-fridge with fresh baked delicious muffins and scones, fresh squeezed orange juice, milk, and a coffeemaker, multiple types of teas and what to me was most thoughtful was plugs on both sides of the bed for both electric cords as well as power cords. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We had a beautiful dinner at the Catskill Rose on Friday night on the patio. The atmosphere is wonderful and you are surrounded by gorgeous gardens full of flowers and trees. Peter and Rose cook up amazing food!!! The appetizers, main course and desserts are amazing! Everything is so flavourful and beautifully presented! Our favourite was the miso ravioli! Lots of options for vegetarians! Very reasonable prices and great friendly service!! We are definitely coming back to eat there soon!!
