Castle Manor Inn

The room was small and simple but very clean with its own private balcony. The bathroom looked newly renovated and again was spotless. Heat worked great and TV was fine. We stayed here in October and took Ubers back and forth to Salem eventhough the train station is less than a mile from the hotel. Fabulous breakfast for an additional fee. I would love to come back during the warmer weather months as it appears to be quite the fishing locale. Owners are great and posses a wealth of information about the areas, attractions, and must sees.

We had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely amazing! The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, the staff were so friendly, and the food was some of the best food I’ve ever tried! Huge shoutouts to John and Chef Dan for helping us so much! Side note, I had never been a fan of clam chowder until I tried Chef Dans award winning chowder. I will definitely be back again

A very basic but enjoyable experience. What the place lacks in amenities it makes up for in charm and views. ||The staff was exceptionally friendly. ||The room was comfortable and clean but a challenge to find outlets for charging. ||We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were terrible, I was in room 15 the first night I smelled propane gas in side my room they did fix that by shutting it off and giving me a electric heater, then the sound of the toilet making a noise every 30 seconds. So we all got back from the wedding and had the reception there, let just say the end of October is a little nippy they didn't close the tent up and the heaters we're not on till we got in there, my 99 year old mother was freezing the whole time plus the bartender was a let's say not friendly... Never again will I stay in that old out dated place again....

It was very deceiving when we got in our room there was no way to heat the room, TV very hard to operate, and the beds were very uncomfortable kinda felt like they were sinking. Also six at night until eight in the morning there is no staff around so if you have problems your on your own. Also guy that runs the place lies about if your staying in the lodge or castle part so we almost didn't get to stay in the castle part. Also breakfast is a separate charge. One more thing the radiator in the room is so noisy it's hard to sleep. Would not recommend.
