Casitas del Monte

Immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-located: we enjoyed our stay at Casitas del Monte. The interior may not be stylish, but it's roomy, clean, comfortable and fairly-priced. We appreciated the peace and quiet, and the way the apartments are designed to stay cool (we barely used the A/C even with daytime highs well into the 90s). We were visiting family so didn't really take advantage of the pool, but wish we had - it was very nice. Best part was the location, convenient to downtown restaurants and a short walk to beautiful hiking trails.

Time has passed this resort by. Units are very very dated. Smell like very old cabins. Carpet looks to be 20 years old. Washer and dryer had been broken for a long time but they didn’t bother to tell us when we booked through RCI. One of the showers barely worked. Small TVs. Minimal cutlery, pots etc in kitchen. Burnt out lights on resort property. Our unit totally dark with zero view. Pool and hot tub but no other amenities. Now they charge $25 day for outside parking. It appears the resort is not spending on maintenance and squeezing for extra fees.|We won’t be back.

Check in area was disorganized and cluttered. The check-in experience was interesting to say the least. The person that checked us in seemed very confused and it took a long time to get checked in. At one point, they referenced the Bates motel, which was not very reassuring. The units themselves are very dated and extremely worn out. The unit we had was unit six, it was clean, but the carpet was stained and dirty, and smelled, which really affected our ability to enjoy our stay. The kitchen was not very well stocked. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The day after we checked in, I was looking for the garbage in the bathroom. I found it under the sink and it was filled with the prior guests garbage.

This place had been without doubts, one of my favorite! Super quiet and relaxing ubication, clean and neat property. The Casitas del Monte are spacious, well equipped and clean. Mine had 2 rooms, 2 entire bathrooms, 2 walking closets, a big leaving room, kitchen and dinner room, and a private balcony. Isn't count with free parking, you have to pay $25×night or leave your cae in the street, which by the way is secure and quiet.

This resort hotel has grills by the pool (cleaned every morning), 1600 ft² rooms, cleaner than clean, fully stocked kitchens, refrigerator with ice maker!!!! It was very nice ... Vintage Palm springs ◉⁠‿⁠◉
