Casey Jones Campgrounds

We had a rv breakdown and the garage mechanic had told us I can work on your rv at this rv park down the street so we can stay in the rv while he worked on it. He said he refers people there all the time. We stayed the first night paid for it and everything was fine. We explained the situation to them and they said they were not strict on the check out times. As the next day went into about 4pm I walked to the office asked if they would like me to pay since it was getting late the lady was very nice and said no with everything you been thru it wasn't necessary. About 4:45 the mechanic was just about finished and a older man came by I take it the owner he came up to me and said YOU GET TO OFFICE NOW AND PAY NOW I was never yelled out by anyone with such force it was totally crazy. Hate to do it but I have to give them a low score for poor communication. Sent an email for a reservation with no reply. Called to make a reservation and the voicemail box is not set up. Had to pay $70 a night at the park up the road because they were the only one I could communicate with. Sucks, it looked like a nice place🤷

Racist, if you ask me. I rented a spot. But as soon as they seen, I had a mixed child and a black man, I was told that they are not renewing my rent. I asked them for a reason. They said, there is none. It's the only thing I could think of we have been quiet. We stay to ourselves and we are clean. We was here 15 days before they told us. They're not renewing their rent.

Just off the highway Casey Jones Campground is convenient for travelers. We overnighted en route to Fort Meyers. The sites are on grass, dirt roads, and full hookups. It’s exactly what it says it is, a campground. No masking as a resort. The staff seemed to be very nice and guided us to our campsite. Like many campground it is sprinkled with full timers or seasonal campers, everyone was really friendly.

Staff came at me extremely rude for trying to use their facilities. From the first word she spoke it was the rudest, most out of line worker I’ve ever interacted with. Definitely will not be coming back and giving them business.
