Customer Reviews
While preparing to travel through area, wife called for availability. Message said they would get back to you within 24 hours. Wife called 4 times over two days, with two messages left. Been over a week and still no return call. Personally I Don’t know how you run a business like this, but not very customer service oriented. Would not recommend this place for that alone. Too many other people out there deserving of our hard earned money. Unacceptable in todays age of cell phones glued to everyone’s ear to not even get a return call.
We stayed 2 day and 3nights. Looked like there were a few spaces, that were definitely, settled in for more than the 2in 1out stay, we were advised of. The camp ground has NO TREES in the hookup side. Be sure to bring a shade source. The same for the pool area as far as shaded areas or umbrellas… there are none, so lather up on the sun screen. As for the bathrooms & showers, let’s just say they should be checked, stocked and kept better! On the hook up side you are required to pay for your electricity and WiFi. It is not included in the package.
This is anything but a resort. |We made a last minute decision to visit our grandkids in La Pine and had to settle on this RV park due to all other parks in the area being full. (That should have been our first clue.)|When we arrived we were told that we could only use one of our air conditioners because their circuits can't handle anything more than that. Anyone that knows central Oregon knows the summer temps hover around 100 degrees. |The park looks like it was a converted cow pasture so there are very few trees for shade. We were also told not put out our mat under the awning due to their attempt to grow the "grass". Again this is central Oregon. Watering every day is fruitless. They might as well plant clover that can handle the heat.|Speaking of water, the water pressure was below 10
The staff are excellent. Jessica in particular went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. Good location depending on your interest. Much less traffic than Bend or Sunriver. Great place to explore the many lakes and scenic drives. Also a great value compared to other RV Resorts in the area.
Out site had no sewer hookup and then found the dump station was not in a big enough space for a big rig to dump. They offered to let us use an unoccupied pull through site to dump. The park itself was nice enough and the staff very friendly.
