Vlad at the front desk was amazing! He was extremely friendly and very helpful. He made me feel welcome and was a great 1st impression! They have a breakfast with coffee and bagels and croissants that were delicious. The rooms are a decent size. Very clean and the beds are so comfortable. They use a code for the front door to get into the building which I lived. It’s in 10th Avenue so it is close to midtown but on the quieter side. I’d recommend this hotel.

This hotel met our needs for a weekend getaway in the big city; we had no complaints. Of course what you get in NYC for what you pay is shocking. But our small room, just bigger than the bed, was clean and comfortable. Everything worked, and the shower was hot and strong. The flat-screen TV had a ton of channels; you just had to aim the remote at the DirecTV receiver behind the screen. There was a microwave, fridge, and safe, more than we expected. There is a lot of noise from the corridor; we slept with the fan on to dampen that and tried to be respectful of other rooms when we were in the corridor. The fellow at the front desk could not have been nicer. Luggage check is $10/bag: no problems.

A totally serviceable hotel for a short stay in New York. The location was very convenient. The staff did their best to meet all our needs with the resources available to them. Website said there would be a safe, but that was not the case. They did offer to hold our passports for us, though that was not the ideal solution. Room was thick with the smell of bleach for the first couple days. At least smelled clean, but it was honestly quite abrasive until it finally aired out. Also, no screen in the window so hard to expedite the air-out process. All in all, met our immediate needs with no frills. But a few more frills might have been nice.

For a last minute reservation, this hotel was okay. The staff seemed very nice and location was ideal as it was very close to Madison Square Garden. The lobby was very nice and the elevator was extremely fast which I appreciated. They definitely need to upgrade the rooms though or at least the room I stayed in. They also maybe need better housekeepers. The beds were clean. I checked the sheets to make sure and they seemed fine, but the bathroom wasn't that clean. The tubs lining was peeling. Also there were multiple places throughout the room where you can see that they had holes in the wall and they just patched it up without painting over it. The lampshades were falling apart and the floor didn't look very clean. One of my towels that I accidentally used on my body wasn't clean. The hou

Though my review is a little bit late cause I visited this hotel in the end of October, still I hope it will be useful! We stayed here just for 3 nights and we liked this place! What we liked: 1- location, 2- warm and clean, 3 - friendly and helpful personnel, 4- they have breakfasts (croissants, coffee, juices, cream cheese, cereals, fruits, butter and jam) not too much, but enough to start your day, no problem with hot/cold water, 5 - no bugs. we lived on the 10th floor, it was a nice view, no problems with elevators. We were ‘hiking’ in New York almost the whole time so we needed just a clean, warm place to sleep and it was the best place for this purpose. Yes the rooms are not big, but more than enough if you don’t plan to live there. Yes there is a little park with scary homeless peop
