Casa Del Sol Motel

We had a lovely room for a fun trip to the avocado festival; within walking distance of the hotel to boot. We enjoyed the quiet room, the cute floor tiles and the jacuzzi tub at the end of each day. The garden was a relaxing spot to share the view of the full moon and a beverage before heading inside. The availability of a bike to ride was a great option, but we chose to walk to town, the largest Torrey Pine in the world, and great eateries close by. A wonderful spot with a nice free breakfast and a clean space, with comfy beds, to enjoy what the town has to offer! Will def be back!

The rooms were quaint with their decor... I loved the Spanish tile and the jetted bathtub!!! OMG that was magical and didn't expect that In the room... The grounds are very quaint and I do love the decor... There was hidden garden areas but unsure if there were private to the room or open to the public... But the flowers and lights were nice... I'm not going to lie, it did appear to be a mix of long term tenants and short term tenants... That was interesting.. but overall it was very chill and mellow.... It was incredibly quiet... I had great sound sleep... It's also pet friendly... I would come back for sure... Close walking distance to the new skate Park... Walking distance to Albertsons shopping plaza... Walkable to linden Street... If you are looking for a place to rest and explore...

Clean place. Comfortable beds. Good service. Spacious room. Don’t expect too much for the continental breakfast, though

The worst experience ever!!! Do not stay here!!! It looks nice from the outside, but it is a roach motel. My wife found two and had to keep the lights on so more wouldn't scurry out in the night. When we finally got a hold of them there was no accountability and they wouldn't refund the remainder of the stay. Yuk!!!

The afternoon check in receptionist on Friday if I could give her a 10 star review I would. Don’t recall her name but she was just amazing. Very pleasant and always smiling and everytime I had a concern she did everything in her power and more to accommodate.
