We booked a room in this hotel on our Wedding Day. It was the greatest experience! I thought that kind of service doesn’t exist in the United States anymore. However, I am happy to be proven right! Very chic, clean, beautiful hotel. Every single staff member is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had the room with the river view. This has to be one of the most exclusive hotels in North America! ||From the minute you pull up to the private motor lobby of the hotel you know you are in for a different NYC experience. The elegant lobby is discreet and quiet and staffed with a wonderfully attentive front office and concierge team. The name recognition is really quite impressive. When the elevators open onto your guest room floor you feel like you are on board a luxury ocean liner from a bygone era. And this continues when you open the door to your stunning room. I arrived on a very early flight at 7 AM to NY and went straight to the hotel. They didn’t have to give me a room till the afternoon, and I had no expectations. However, within two hours I was given a room by a very kind and professional member of the front desk team. She was incredibly polite, helpful and made me feel very welcome. The staff at this hotel are honestly world class. From the cleaning team, front desk, to the folks in the club and especially at breakfast service.
