Carmel Hill Lodge Monterey

We had a perfect stay here. The room is spacious and clean and the staff who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. Bed was super comfy. We slept really well. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

***5 STARS*** Wonderful stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Great amenities - wi-fi, desk and comfortable office chair, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, big TV. Spacious, comfortable room. Very convenient location - walking distance across the street at shopping center with variety of restaurants, grocery store, and shops. This is my "go-to" place when I stay in Monterey. I love this place, very peaceful and relaxing.

Excellent stay with service that goes above and beyond! The convenient location (shopping center right across the street) and comfortable room were great, but it was Dan's service that truly stood out. Dan greeted us warmly and shared excellent dog-friendly recommendations nearby. But he became my hero when I accidentally left my computer bag sitting next to my car! He kindly traced my number and called me before I even left the area. I am so incredibly grateful for his honesty and effort. Dan, you saved me from a major crisis! Thank you for your exceptional kindness!

I visited this property last month during the Labor Day weekend and had a really good experience. The place was very neat and clean, perfect for families. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was well taken care of. Overall, it was a pleasant stay - peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to visit again

We had such a wonderful stay during our trip to Monterey and a huge credit goes to Dan who manages the hotel property at Carmel Hill Lodge! Dan’s hospitality was unmatched and he ensured to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. Overall, it was great value for money and the location of the lodge was also pretty spot on (close to all the fun things) Would highly recommend this lodge for your stay in Monterey!
