Captain's Lodge Motel

We just had a one night stay here on 9/13. We had a wonderful time. The room was big, bright and very clean. The shower was outstanding. Mike the owner is sooooo lovely. He truly goes up and beyond for his guests. He helped us with ice and our ice buckets. He brought us chairs so we could sit outside. He is the perfect host. It goes to show you that if you're nice in this world your experiences will always go well. We need more business owners like this in this lifetime. It was an all around great visit. We will certainly go back and we highly recommend this hotel. You will certainly enjoy your stay here. Wishing Mike, his wife and family all the best. Cheers! Just returned from a perfect stay at Captain’s Lodge Motel. This motel was awesome. The room that had been recently renovated was beautiful! The pool was so inviting and the motel owner was the very best and one of the nicest person we have met. And to top it off you could not ask for a better location. Already planning our next stay at this wonderful motel. A big thank you for making our Anniversary getaway so special!

I cannot express enough how great this motel was. I was skeptical because of the reviews but the entire place has been renovated as of last week. ||The front office was super accommodating they are there 24/7 in case you have an issue which we did not but they made sure they told us they were there in case Anything happened. ||This is so close to good Harbor Beach that you can walk there it is so convenient. ||Also the beds are extremely comfortable. They have all new bedding the pictures have not been updated and they told us that so do not hesitate to book here! ||I will definitely come back. I rarely leave reviews and I felt compelled to do so here because of the very positive changes they have made and the previous reviews. ||Thank you so much I will definitely be back you guys were gr

I just stayed here from Friday the 20th Monday the 23rd. It was a last minute decision as Gloucester was at capacity for an event and I could not have been happier with my stay. The folks who run the hotel are incredible… gave me rides to the plaza down the street to get food and essentials, had me over for a BBQ, etc. The room was bigger than most and bed was huge and comfortable. Shower pressure amazing and the pool was super clean and refreshing. I highly recommend.

Great stay! Really large room and it looked like it was recently renovated inside. Clean, cheerful spot with a good pool. Room had tv, microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, good water pressure. Super short drive to Main St. Glouster too, with an upscale market directly across the road for any quick needs. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our weekend away.
