Caprock RV Park

This is not a typical RV park, so don’t expect that. If you want a safe, immaculate play to stay with FHU, mostly pull thru spots (there are only 7) and Wi-Fi that works, then Capstone RV park will be perfect for you. It is close to I94 with easy on and off. The nearby SP Makoshika is beautiful, but it has no hook ups and can get hot! We travel with dogs and wanted a worry free place to stay. This campground is in an industrial area next to a storage facility. It’s unusual, but it was perfect for our stay. So you are prepared, there is no bathhouse (perfect with FHU) and it is self check in. The managers aren’t on site, but they take impeccable care of these sites. We actually saw them daily.

Well first I have to say this isn't your typical campground. This is a RV Park. There are 7 full hookup sites total. Each is nice gravel with green space in between them. Some sites are shaded some partially shaded. The park is located behind a storage facility in an industrial area. Don't let that be a deterrent! We found it very quiet, safe. and exceptionally clean (I stayed there alone for one day). There are picnic tables at each site and a private dump station for those traveling through. || I would assume there is a small fee for that but don't know for sure. We stayed on a Saturday thru Thursday in mid June. Dennis and Sandy the owners couldn't have been nicer. Dennis comes through several times a day to check on things. Easy in and out. BIG pull through. Nice grass, space between sites. Easy, nice folks to work with! So helpful. If you need a place to stay this is it, close on and off to freeway, but far enough away you can't hear it. Would definitely stay again.

I think $60.00 is a bit steep when there’s no toilets or showers available. The other kicker is they cut the site power without warning. I work remote and lost computer data and internet. My parking spot seemed like it was in the driveway blacking other access to the site. The pretty pictures is not the non-existent lodge, it’s the one cabin on site.

A nice little cash-only RV park with easy access to Glendive, MT. We stopped here on our way through to Glacier National Park. While the camp is indeed very small (only 6 sites), the sites were roomy and level, and the place is well maintained. The surroundings are safe but not "pretty" - the park is in the middle of what seems to be a commercial area. The full hookups worked great, but note that there is no bath house.
