Cape Shore Inn

This is a simple, no-frills motel that offers excellent value for the price. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My room was well-maintained, and the housekeeping was always done very accurately. A great budget-friendly choice for a stay in the area.

We were expecting a quaint Cape Cod motel. Instead we received a filthy room with a smell. We had to purchase clorox wipes and Lysol to try to lessen the smell in the room. The floor was dirty, especially in the corners. The furniture is mismatched and very old. The room was expensive and disgusting. We thought to open the window but there was trash piled up outside and the window had no screen. There’s no excuse for this kind of filth when you’re offering rooms to the public.

Positive: There was nothing to like. Didn’t even spend the night there. Paid for two rooms. No soap, no too sheet, linens were dirty. Furniture was grimy and I wouldn’t even sit in the chair. Negative: Decided right after check in that I would not spend the night there, daughter and son in law did not stay in their room either. Grounds were dirty, strewn with garbage. Piles of garbage and debris everywhere you look. Room was gross.

I booked this hotel for my birthday weekend, and it was affordable. Now I know why. The couch was broken and flat, the bath tub size was about the half size of a normal one. The toilet had dried pee stain around it. The bed was bad. A few minutes after turning on the loud old AC a nasty smell seeped through. Mixed with overcooked onion and drugs. When I went upstairs at-least 2 people opened their door and it was just sketchy. Back to the smell, it was so bad I started to throw up, and then my asthma kicked in. We decided to leave and my chest hurt the rest of the night from this. Room was not what the pictures looked like at all.

Great value for the price. Quiet, clean, spacious room with notably good amenities. There was a well-stocked coffee station as well as microwave in our room.
