Cannon Mountain Ski Resort

I absolutely love skiing Cannon. I learned to ski here on the pony lift as a little lad, and enjoy it even more as an adult. The area is OG. It's not some pretentious area where wannabe's go. No, this is a real, authentic, throwback challenging mountain- probably the best in the East - where everyone on the mountain just loves skiing. The crowds never seem too large, there is plenty of space on the trails, and the staff here is so friendly and welcoming. Ski Cannon. If you can, then you can ski anywhere.

Awesome no-frills ski area with tons of trails, just know what you're getting into! I can't speak for the beginner area, but Cannon intimidates me in a way that many others don't. If you have the skills and are feeling ready for a challenge, you'll have a blast. Staff at the demo/rental center were super helpful, though if i knew this going in i wouldn't have tried such a hardcore setup. Comically easy to get to off of I-93.

Legend, period. If you enjoy pure skiing/riding, this is the place to be. No fluff stuff or luxury facilities, and just pure joy. Super nice staff also. My favorite mountain in NH.

The surprise of my East Coast Ski trip! Cannon was awesome! Great terrain, great warm and welcoming ski lodge, great snow. Great fun!
