Candlewood Suites Vicksburg by IHG

Pleasantly surprised at how nice my stay was here. Area is very busy with so many workers in town, so rooms can be scarce. This was my first stay here, but won't be the last, as I work as nurse frequently in the area. Very nice, clean, quiet studio suite. One of the cleaner hotels I've stayed in lately. Nothing torn or broken in the room, no dirt in the corners, carpet had no stains, linens were soft, no damp smell in room. Staff were friendly. Safe area but can be busy. Room was quiet, slept well on nice mattress. No restaurants within walking distance, but many are very close. Don't think they have breakfast, but coffee available 24/7. Studio has kitchenette, with full refrigerator.

Candlewood Vicksburg was a great stay. The employees were fantastic and the room was comfortable. Everything I needed, I was able to get. The employees even recommended some of the products in the pantry, and I was happy to take them up on their recommendations. The lobby was an inviting space, and the room I stayed in had everything you needed, including a full-sized refrigerator and a kitchenette. The bathroom was well-sized for the stay.

Stayed one night in April, clean room and loved the free laundry service. My husband and I are traveling all over the country and were tired and found this hotel. Rates were good too. My only complaint is we left in the morning and after traveling 2 hrs we stopped for a drink. Went to pay and my wallet was not in my purse. The night before I used my wristlet and put my bank card in that for dinner. I don’t like leaving my wallet in my purse and put it on the desk chair and pushed the chair in. When we got back from dinner I forgot to retrieve it from the chair. Unfortunately it got left behind when we left. Totally my fault. Called the hotel to ask if it was found. Front desk checked with housekeeping and was told no. I even called back the next day and asked if they checked on the chair.

My first time staying there… And it was a great experience. Everyone there was very nice. The room was very clean and it had a kitchenette. The location was convenient to different types of amenities.

Everyone here was great. Miss Allison is a great leader who leads my setting the bar high when it comes to delivering excellent customer service. Her interaction, and recommendations was on point. I really appreciate all she did to make my team and I have a comfortable stay. Great work. We'll be back.
