Candlewood Suites Indianapolis East by IHG

No such thing as a perfect hotel. Staff was nice and didn't bother us as we came in, or went to do laundry or breakfast. We was even a few minutes late leaving and they didn't say a word. Room was clean when we got there so we returned the favor. It was a little expensive bc we was a real late check in... But above all we enjoyed our stay and breakfast! Was Jan 2nd or 3rd we stayed once B4 and plan on again on my bday in a few wks. Thank you candlewood suites.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!|Horrible Horrible Horrible Service! Dirty hotel, very unsanitary. Doors did not seal properly you could see light all around the doors. speaking of doors, They did not close on their own you have to pull them closed! For it being a non smoking hotel the smell of Marijuana and cigarette smoke in the hallways were ridiculous. it is a NO SMOKING establishment! Elevators were not clean. The hand rails in the stairwells were not stable and falling apart. very dangerous in case of an emergency.... Speaking of safety. The safety in the neighborhood of this establishment is very dangerous. numerous gunshots were heard throughout my stay. I would have rather stayed in the Culvers across the parking lot. Upon arrival the smell was odd, but after getting to room and being in hotel for 10 min horrible headache set in. I left and will never return, didn't even bother for a refund. I'd pay 10x to not stay here Hotel is old and run down. Typically thats understandable however its Not clean. Grimy film on everything. The whole situation is very suspect. From entrance, to staff, to parking lot. The hotel seems like a shell for something else going on. If I had been here for vacation vs. work and had my family with me, we would have never even gotten to the room.... I would have left immediately after walking into this place. I'm shocked they have a IHG franchise, someone needs to take a look at this place. No where near the expectations of an IHG property

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give negative stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous management staff. They advertise as an extended stay but they seem to have an identity crisis because they kicked out several families in the middle of a winter storm and Travel advisory. The actual staff is phenomenal I feel bad they work in such a toxic environment. There are roaches throughout. The owner is rude and his minions are unprofessional. Be warned. Shoutout to Krissi, Tonya and Beatrice. They made our stay worthwhile but I will be retracting my IHG membership as I will never patronize another of their establishments.

Horrible experience there, Last Sunday while in the lobby I could hear a lady screaming vulgar words at what seemed to be other people in a room in the back, They have a laundry area and it seemed to be coming from that area, second visit and it seems not much has changed this time I was able to see that the ladys name was kathy if you speak spanish you would be ashamed at the vulgar words you could here, very unprofessional why should guest have to hear workers speak this way? Is this really a place you would want to spend your hard earned money at? I wouldn't and its embarrassing to even see people be this comfortable degrading others. Management really needs to step their game up as someone who manages my own local I'd be ashamed if the people I oversee ever felt as if they could not co
