Candlewood Suites Greenville NC by IHG

I booked here on a Monday afternoon, for the following saturday. A little background, me and my fiancee wanted to get a night away, we have 3 kids total and 4 animals between us and the house sometimes can be chaos. With that said, we thought a date night with nice room at the end of it sounded like music to our ears. Booked through booking.com, called Friday morning to confirm the reservation and inquire about the deposit amount, everything was fine. Arrangements were already made for the children and animals for the overnight stay and we were excited. Then I get a phone call at 8 o clock on Friday night from either a manager or reception. Informing me they will not allow me to stay at this hotel because I live within a 50 mile radius. This was the night before I was supposed to be stayin

Overall I like this hotel an I have stayed there many times over the years. Rome’s are well set up and have a lot of space. Bathroom is comfortable and clean. I could not sleep well this time because of old noisy refrigerator that sounded like starting Harley Davidson motorcycle every hour. At first I couldn’t even figure out where that roar coming from in the middle of the night. I hope they take care of it before my next trip

NOISE!!! Don't expect a good night sleep. The checkin was good. The room was clean. However, I would NEVER stay here again, unless I was guaranteed my room style choice on the highest floor. The noise from the room above us was awful. It went on until 1:00am and resumed at 6:00am. It was constant stomping. We called the front desk and they said they would reach out to them. If they actually did, it didn't help. Worst nights sleep ever. The roon had a coffee maker and a pouch of coffee but no sugar or cream.

My mother, stepfather and I were recently forced to stay in hotels due to Hurricane Florence. Candlewood suites had everything to make us feel as if we had a home. Clean, with everything you need to cook in the room, friendly helpful staff who had amenities such as shaving cream and toothbrushes available. On site guest laundry... the list goes on. It was truly a haven from the storm.

We came down to surprise my Sister who was and still is in hospital and my dad. We picked this hotel because it was right down the road where she lived. Upon entering the hotel, we was greeted with a very warm welcome from Trey. He was just a delight!! We came in on Christmas eve and stayed until December 28, 2025.. hospitality was awesome!. This was my 1st time here and my Ma 3rd time staying. Trey is truly the right person to have at the front desk!!
