Candlewood Suites Fayetteville Fort Bragg by IHG

Arrived at 2am just to sleep on the way down to Florida. The check-in staff was nice and helped us get checked in quickly. The room looked very cute but as soon as we walked in, we got hit with a very musty and moldy odor. The comforter for our bed had a fresh stain on it and the sheets had hairs all over them, so it was very obvious the comforter and the sheets had not been washed, so gross. 😭 Our toilet seat was dirty. The air conditioner made the most annoying, loud, tapping and banging noises all night long. The walls are so thin at this place, the sound insulation is awful. We heard people above us from about 2:30am -3:30am banging and walking around. Everything was so loud, it sounded like they were right in the same room with us. Our visit was amazingly peaceful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Our bathroom was beautiful and they had Dove shower gel and hand soap. I’ve never seen a hotel that has good products. We Didn’t Even Have to use our own. We were able to cook breakfast instead of going out which is amazing because the beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to move. Our 1yr old even enjoyed the space he could run around without bothering anyone next door. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning on our next visit. I had an excellent one night stay here. It was a very clean hotel with such a friendly staff, I kind of wish I'd had more of a reason to stay other than traveling back from New York to Florida. ||I had my two dogs with me and they were the only last minute hotel available. Normally, I would have arrived at a time no staff would be available for a true check in but Lejeune was there and ready to assist. She was so friendly and so helpful, it was very refreshing. Not all hotels I've stayed at have someone so kind managing the desk that late at night. ||The room was excellent. Very clean. Quite a bit of space and a near full kitchen set up. Good location close to Fort Braggs. Our room’s carpet was tearing and causing us to trip over it. We only stayed one night as we drove North. Wouldn’t do a multi night stay unless I had to.

The lady at the front desk when I was checking in provided exceptional service. She was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed/at home. The room was very comfortable for my one-night stay and had everything I needed.
