Candlewood Suites DFW West - Hurst by IHG

I've stated this location numerous times, but there's this one guest who stayed regularly. He drinks very loudly and is obnoxious. My stay this time was horrible. The room was not clean. It was filthy. Each time I requested towels, they were out. There were no clean towels. Beddings and floors had stains. I was moved 2 different rooms without accommodations. Coffee machine was broken, computer doesn't scan or print for business purposes, elevator broken. Very disappointing this trip.

This could be a nice place to stay. The front desk person Nancy very rude and unprofessional. She doesn't like to answer any questions a guest may have. When asking for clean towels she stated she has to retrieve the one we used for issuing more towels. Housekeeping have already pick those up. Nancy will talk with housekeeping personnel in Spanish laughing at guest. Most housekeeping staff can't speak English. Be mindful they will go into your room when you're not on the property. (Sergio) comes to work drunk play his music loud down the hallways. When we the guest are trying to sleep. He talks very loud and often use profanity. Very ghetto

The housekeeping staff cannot speak English. We requested towels and other items for the room, but they did not understand the request. The room had an odor and was very unclean. It's like they rushed to put the next person in without sanitizing. Very suspicious folks staying there (male loud and drunk every day) I was switched to two different rooms due to uncleanliness. The front desk staff was very nice, except for one aggressive female who works during the daytime front desk Hispanic. Overly priced for little service. Be mindful they only clean every 7 days. They still will not clean the room at that point

This hotel was perfect for me. My husband had surgery in North Richland Hills and this hotel was a 5 -7 minute drive away. I liked it being an extended stay hotel. This allowed me to prepare some of my own meals. Having complimentary washers & dryers was a huge plus! The room was quiet - you couldn't hear people moving about in the hall or rooms next door. The only negative about my entire stay is the lack of utensils. There was only 1 fork and the only spoons were 2 serving spoons. Eating cereal or yogurt with a serving spoon is a little challenging. But a stop at Walmart (almost literally across the street) for a box of plastic spoons and problem solved.

We spent two nights recently to visit with family in the area. We are IHG Platinum Elite members, but weren’t offered an upgrade. There were only two chairs and no sofa in our room so that meant three people had to sit on the bed when our family came over to visit us. While the sitting situation wasn’t ideal, the room was nice and clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and clean as well. There were two microwaves. The second one took up most of the counter space, but we realized it was there because the one that was built in didn’t work, so the second one was necessary. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome each time we came back from being out. Overall it was a nice stay. It’s a good location and close to lots of restaurants in the area. Many within walk
