The location is fine, you’re in Chinatown. But the hotel experience wasn’t ideal. There was people yelling and arguing at night, the rules state to be quiet past 9pm. Service person was rude and not nice. Unfortunately saw some cockroaches in the bathroom. The location of this place wasn’t bad but if you’re looking for cleanliness and a good nights rest, this is not the place. If I were to return to New York, I would not stay here again. I’d give it 2 stars had we had not cockroaches and was quiet to sleep.

What’s everyone on about with this hotel? It’s up-to-date and more than satisfactory for the price. If you need a clean, well-lighted place to park your luggage and sleep, this is it. The desk clerk was quite pleasant.|They do charge 30 bucks for taxes, etc. when you check in. I knew that because Hotels.com told me about when I booked. |A very lively neighborhood is a bonus, and it’s just a couple of blocks from the legendary Dimes restaurant and Metrograph theatre.|I’d give it five stars but then everyone would expect the Hyatt and be disappointed.

We stayed here in September. Honestly this was really good stay, we were concerned about some negative comments , but everything was clean and there was no odor or any kind of smell. For students and people on budget that want a nice place for this price that is really close to everything New York has to offer this is definitely a option that you should consider.

Positive: Cleanliness and the room was nicely decorated. Location was good Negative: The lobby area was not appealing. The sockets in the room were large it was difficult to keep charging plugs in place. No coffee available on site

On Jan. 17 2026, I booked a room with a king size bed for Valentine's Day, Feb. 14 2026. Upon check-in, I was told our room was no longer available. It was given away to another guest because of overbooking. Instead, we were offered a room with two twin sized beds at an equvalent price and told them we could "push them together." I was told they were at capacity, yet somehow they were able to find a single bed room for the couple behind us. The business felt untrustworthy. The room itself had a broken toilet that wouldn't flush and had an incredibly loud pump that you could hear from outside the room with the door closed. I reported it to the receptionist, she said that all of the toilets in the building are loud, but she would call their technician to come fix it immediately. Walking bac
