Came here for horseback riding with my family. This is a Methodist Church camp that offers horseback riding year-round for a price way lower than anywhere else I've ever been. This is a great outing for anyone new to horseback riding or to do with your children. It's also a price that makes this a great weekend activity for the whole family. Our guide led us around the large acreage of the camp for around 45 minutes on a very easy and beautiful ride.
I attended Wesley Woods as a kid a few decades ago. Camp was a highlight of every summer! It was a place to grow in my faith, make new friends, and learn new skills. One of my favorite parts was riding horses. These are still all things that kids get to do today!
Wesley Woods is an amazing camp! I had a chance to go there as a young person, and am involved as an adult. I love the positive message and change that comes from time away at camp. Thanks, Wesley Woods!
I have many excellent memories from this camp. There are a wide variety of activities, a caring staff, so much beauty, and a big pocket of peace in the middle of Iowa.
Wesley Woods is a great, rustic place to hold a retreat or family gathering. The scenery is gorgeous and the staff are friendly.
