Cambria Hotel New York - Chelsea

Prime location, reasonable price, very friendly staff. I saw a review about rooms not available until 6pm. I was lucky to get my room at 2pm. The receptionist Max was very nice. The room has no view but there's a nice rooftop. The hotel is on a street with many flower shops. The whole night I could hear big noise like loading and moving stuffs on the street. If you're a light sleeper it's hard to have a good sleep. The hotel offers free coffee, tea and hot chocolates in the morning. The coffee didn't taste good though.

Pros- I think the location is great it is close to the subway stations and some main attractions. We were even able to use the Q70 and catch the subway to get to the hotel + a little walk but it wasn’t too bad. The rooms are also pretty spacious and modern. Staff for the most part is also friendly. Cons- The beds themselves are somewhat stiff and lumpy and the tvs don’t work. Also house keeping skipped my room and I had to go downstairs to ask them to clean my room and was told they do it automatically unless I have my dnd sign out and I let them know that my sign wasn’t out but my room wasn’t cleaned, but they did clean it that night. Security at night was ok. Overall, location mattered more to me since we didn’t spend much time in the room. I would rate it overall a 3.7

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I was visiting New York with a friend in early January. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, the location. The staff were excellent - a special shout out to Stephanie at the front desk who was just incredibly helpful, and warm and friendly. I was upgraded to the suite on the top floor with balcony and great views. Location is walkable near Penn train station, Times Square and the Theater District. I would very much recommend this hotel and I hope in the future when I return to New York City that I will be able to book this hotel again.

Stayed there while visiting the city for my wife birthday and brought my mother along as it was her first time visiting the city. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of access to local transportation including less than a 10 min walk from Penn Station! The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with needs or requests. Big shoutouts to Justin and Chelsea! We would absolutely stay again if visiting NYC again..

I spent 6 nights in January here in a King room. I felt comfortable, the staff was nice, the room is big and the heating and got water worked great. However, the rooms could use renovation. The furniture is old and run down, even the toilet seat is very used, which I was not confortable with. The towels are very old too, should be replaced. I wish there was more attention to detail. The shower is nice but it doesn't have a handheld shower hose and head. While the room was a very good size, the bathroom was extremely small and it was incredibly difficult to close the door, because there was no room between the door and toilet (I am skinny). The location is great, though, and I loved that. Also they provide free water, you can refill bottles at the water fountain in the gym. I loved the
