California Inn & Suites Bakersfield

One of the worst stays I’ve ever seen, they use old blankets and sheets which literally looks yellow with stains on it , switched to 2 rooms all rooms looks same with roaches. Management is very rude and lot of homeless around . Don’t waste a single penny on this stay . Worst experience

Beds are completely stained, bedbug markings asked for another room and lady was very rude am currently pregnant smelling fumes of urine, and cigarettes.

If I could say one thing about this place it’s DONT STAY HERE !!! Our room was so hot because the ac was barely blowing cold air , the shower was disgusting i didn’t even use it, We checked in a little bit late and they told us the elevator didn’t work so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with 2 sleeping toddlers on top of that my mother in law also got a room here she has to use a walker and they made her climb the stairs because her room was on the 3rd floor as well. There was also some sketchy dude wearing a ski mask hanging out in the parking lot and in the hallway

I was in California for a funeral and booked a four day stay here. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! The most disgusting hotel I have ever seen, so much so I didn’t even stay the days I paid for. It’s infested with roaches, the bed covers were absolutely disgusting, there are drug addicts and homeless people all around , the towels were the nastiest towels I’ve seen, and so much more. I was literally scared to go out at night because of the people and scared to use anything in the hotel. This is the first review I’ve ever wrote, but I feel I need to warn people about this hotel .

Rat infestation. You hear them all night in /near the heaters. I stepped outside for a cigarette and almost stepped on one that literally ran in front of me while climbing the stairs. These vermin are not shy... the walls paint was peeling. I got the suite with the hot tub. It was too expensive and nasty.
