We like boutique Hotels and picked the Cadet Hotel in Miami for 4 nights. As we were staying for four nights we booked a junior suit room.|This probably the worst decision I have ever made when booking a hotel.|While the staff were friendly the Hotel was totally dismal. |The main problem we had, however, was the room. For a junior suit it was minute and the bathroom was minuscule . The bedroom was not big enough to swing a mouse in and this was made worse by the fact that whoever then designed the room choose style over practicality . For example there was a Japanese tea set taking up space on one wall. This was for decoration only, there was no tea or coffee making capability in the room. There was a desk and a chair but no draws for our clothes . Consequently our two cases had to be on t

I had such a wonderful stay at Cadet Hotel this past weekend. From the moment I stepped in, the treatment was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The staff made me feel comfortable right away and were always happy to help with anything I needed.Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. I had the avocado toast and poached eggs, and they were cooked to perfection ,fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room overall was spotless and very well maintained. You can truly tell they care about the guest experience and cleanliness. They also offer chairs and umbrella included on the resort fee. I will definitely be coming back next year. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and re

The Cadet Hotel is as close as you can get to the beach without paying for oceanfront accommodations. It's also walking distance to the convention center, parking garages ($20 per day), and the Lincoln Road Shopping District. Our room was a little small and dated, but that's to be expected in these historic buildings. The management of the hotel, however, was a little disappointing. For example, they've created a beautiful backyard seating area which is absolutely gorgeous...but cannot be occupied by guests after sunset. Why did they bother to hang all the festoon lighting? It's really the only space in the hotel where you can sit and chat with friends/family and it seems unreasonable to prevent people from enjoying that space so early in the evening. Perhaps closing the space at 10pm wou

I had a fantastic time staying at the cadet hotel. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and bilingual, the location is amazing on the beach and Lincoln Road , and Jackie Gleason Theater and new world symphony, and Convention center. The hotel is very well taken care of and a wonderful place to stay with an on-site Cafe , etc. I highly recommend it!

The beautiful photo of the pool after dusk... Nope. The uptight manager will kick you out when the sun goes down at 6:00. You have your own drinks? Nope. She will complain to you about that too while telling you that you shouldn't have them at the pool because they have a bar and sell drinks. But... There's no one at the bar. Oh, BTW, a simple drip coffee is $9.99. If that's the case, how much is a drink? No prices listed. As a result, the six of us went to other restaurants instead. We overheard the manager complaining to other guests who had friends come by before dinner, saying they had to provide ID. The front desk staff is wonderful, especially Steven and Vivianna. The manager is toxic and is killing the place. The three couples who met there will never go back. Also, the rooms are
