I have been a KOA VIP member for 5 years, staying at more than 25 (TWENTY-FIVE) KOA locations. 🤣  I have not been treated as poorly, or even close to it, at any other locations.  I see that the Burlington location is for sale, hopefully the new owners will hire a new staff, or at least offer better training…until then 😱😬||I called the office number well before 11, stating that I would need a little longer to check out of my site (minor RV issue, not uncommon). I was told that there was someone else coming in (at 2 pm) and I assured her I would be out by noon.  End of conversation- no indication of extra fees.  At 11:58 am, I was IN the office being demanded to pay a $10 LATE FEE.  I was not told of this charge and I was also not an hour late getting out of my site.  In addition, when I c

Made reservations 9 days prior to arrival date. My husband has to have unexpected surgery and they woul note refund my deposit as it is shorter than 7 days. We have been going there for years and I have never experienced rudeness from any other staff member. We stayed there 2-3 times a year for many years. We will NEVER step foot on their property again.

This KOA is gated so when checking in make sure when you pull up dont pull to far forward or block road way. During our stay the camp ground was clean and quite probably only about a handful of trailers. Somethings I recommend for travelers, bring extra shade for yourself, as more than half the camp ground doesn’t have tree’s or covering. During our stay we didnt use any of the amenities- although we did notice after the fact that the do have a laundry room that is not listed in the amenities. We went to a near by laundry mat about 15 min away, shopped at the super outlet mall.

Paid for a monthly spot and then was charged $10 per night that nine-year-old child was home🙄. Im familiar with the $10 per guest fee which applies to many parks, but I have never heard of a tenant being charged for their own minor child to stay home! Very rude, money hungry manager. Also charged us $10 per person plus a vehicle pass for niece and nephew to come play for a couple hours, even though they all arrived in the same vehicle. Talk about money gouging, especially when most of the amenities are closed anyways… This parks manager gives koas everywhere a bad name!

Start with clean nice bathrooms and manicured sites. Then go to the negative. The clerk at the desk said checkin was at twelve while looking at the clock at 5 min to 12 she wanted to charge me $20 for early checkin. There were only 5 rigs in the park. So I came back at 5 min after 12 and she chkd me in. Turns out chrckin time was two pm. She could not articulate two and instead said twelve while looking at the clock. I recommend everyone go to the Bayview state park for better accomodations and actual customer service instead of surly attitude. Staying at over 20 KOA parks a year, I have never recorded a bad stay and rude sassyness until now.
