Budgetel Inn & Suites Atlanta

I would have been better off sleeping in my car honestly. My friend found a room here on her booking app for 56 bucks and I figured it would be the same price, and since I was coming into Atlanta earlier, I would go ahead and get it. It ended up being 100 bucks for me to book it. First off, the location is super sketchy. The heat doesn't work in the room at all, the lights in the bathroom don't work (actually they decided to randomly turn on at 11AM), and the water doesn't go down the drain in the shower. I honestly feel like I need a tetunus shot for even staying here. This is probably the most run down place I have ever stayed and I am not a stranger to cheap hotels. I am kinda suprised that there isn't bugs that I have noticed, but it's probably just too cold for them too. I am mostly l

Positive: Great value for the price. Overall, the room was comfortable. Negative: Arrived very late and surprised to find a large puddle of water in the bathroom. Mopped it with a towel, it didn't return.

Bad service at front desk, had to wait forever for anyone to even be at the desk. Rooms not cleaned for four days, never even saw a housekeeping cart in the halls. Every time you left the room and came back key card would not work, hair dryer in room but did not work. Told they were not meant to. Ice machines did not work. Air conditioner worked but barely. Only one light in the room worked. Outlet did not work and was barely in the wall. Shower curtain was too short so water all over the floor. Elevators and hallways were dingy. Outside doors did not require key card to enter.

I stayed here during my visit and I must say that I was positively surprised. I have 0 complaints against the hotel. The only issue I had was the strong smell of weed in my room which I complained to them but unfortunately, they didn’t have any free room (they showed me and I saw it for myself). They allowed me and I applied a lot of air freshener spray which I had in my car and that helped a lot. Considering the price paid, I’d say the hotel is great (folks fail to see that the very low price affects a lot of other things). The staffs were very good, polite and hospitable (I am a very respectful person myself). YES I will stay here again should I visit Atlanta again. Thanks

1. First room cock roach infestation. 2. Second room, blood everywhere on the bed the walls the floor the window. Mold. And guess what kinda stain is also on the bed. Yep. 3. Third room, missing fire alarm burn holes everywhere walls falling off. Missing painting. But no blood and only 1 cock roach so far. 10/10 would never recommend this place to anyone other than law enforcement cause they are so many health violations and laws broken at this hotel by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel I rather sleep in my car so I’m going to do so.
