Budget Inn & Suites El Centro

From the start, I had a good feeling about this motel. The office was decorated really well and the pleasant smell of incense greeted me. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.||||My room was very cozy and clean, plenty of space with a comfortable bed, and good TV. There was even a closet with its own door as well as a mini fridge and microwave. The motel is very close to food places and grocery stores.||||Truly the only somewhat negatives were that the shower drained slowly and the internet connection was spotty at times. Beyond that, I really enjoyed my stay here.

In December of every year for three years I have used this hotel. The room we usually stay in is a bedroom with a king size bed, microwave and mini-fridge with plenty of storage otherwise. The manager is very accommodating, and the cleaning was done regularly - no complaints! When we visit, we're treated like friends rather than simply customers. Staff is very friendly and very generous. We would definitely use this place again; great value, great service! We picked it initially for the location (in an area close to shopping and food), and in the future we'll pick it because of the service!

low price but a good overnight. the bed was comfortable and the shower was terrific. my room had refrigerator and microwave but no coffee. staff was friendly but hard to find at times, felt like owner was doing many jobs. no breakfast. in the morning it was "drop the key in the slot and go" situation.

the air conditioning sucks. the bathroom is like a sauna because they have no fans and not even a curtain to try and block the sun coming. and they will tell you to wait 30 minutes to an hour for your room to cool down,which is bs because we are still laying in a pool of sweat. they can't even provide a fitted sheet for their beds. I DO NOT recommend ANYONE stay here no matter how good the deal, spend the extra 20$ or whatever to get a better room somewhere else. I will not make the mistake of booking here again.

Our stay was for the night of Feb 8, 1018. Arrived late about 1030 PM. Check in was not pleasant. Talked to thru glass and multiple ID checks. Room was darkly lit which turned out to be a plus. Found multiple bugs in the bed. Cover on sofa was dirty(tracked in dirt and hair) In the daylight it was worse. The cream colored phone was brown with filth. Had not been cleaned in a long time. Carpet was dirty. Frame around bottom of bathroom door was rotted. The white entry door was filthy, dirt stained. ||Can not recommend and will not stay at this facility again.
