Budget inn Roswell

We stopped here for the night. We were headed home from North Dakota. This was back in May. I reserved two rooms through a work program. Upon the clerk/owner finding out my Dad was a retired USAF veteran, they gave him a further discount on his room. They were extremely friendly. When we found out the fridge wasn't working they offered to put us in another room, but it was a smoking room, so we declined. But since we had coolers, we just got ice as necessary. I saw that the towel racks were empty, so I asked for towels, they brought us towels. When I went to put the towels away...there was another towel rack, above the toilet, fully stocked. Oops! Comfortable room, very quiet location. Definitely stay here again. No breakfast, but they didn't advertise that.

Any review you read before 2018 I would ignore this place has obviously been remodeled. The room was very clean large flat screen TV clean tile floors clean bedspreads and linen awesome bed memory foam mattress was quite comfortable I'm now thinking of purchasing one LOL. I've been on the road for 14 days in all different states and this motel by far is one of the best that we've stayed at. The only complaint I possibly have about the place is the hot water is limited when you turn it on there's like a stopper so it only gets warm at best so if you like hot showers this is probably not the place to stay.

Service was good, very hospitable. Ice machine has good ice, not the kind that's already melting. Very small parking lot. Room was lacking drawers in the dresser and the walls were very dirty, splatters around trash cans. The bathroom fan didn't work, only lukewarm water in the shower, bad lighting/not all light bulbs were working. Comfortable bed, relatively quiet area.

It's been my experience that it's not very clean.They don't seem to give you clean towels daily and don't change the beds frequently enough. If you're coming for a long term stay. It seems that the Housekeeping does the bare minimum. And the hotel seems okay with it. If you're looking for something affordable this would be the place to stay. But if you're looking for exceptional clean then I would choose otherwise. Update came back to see if it was just bad luck staying here not budget inn no the case. I came to stay another night last week and ran into some me in Room 110. In hazard suits. They said someone had died in the hotel and had been there for a long period of time.
