Wild Willy's RV Park

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of weeks in October in a Class C Motorhome with no tow vehicle. The RV park is close to town and the Roswell transit offers low cost transportation with a bus stop located in front of the park. I recommend checking out the UFO museum and the Roswell zoo! The park is small and quiet. Willy and his wife are helpful and check in was easy. The bathrooms have a code on them which we appreciate and they were well maintained.

It was our second night in town. We woke up to a few inches of now on the ground with predicted more. We called at 8 in the morning and he answered very nice. Asked if he had a spot for 2 nights so we knew we were safe in the weather. He had one spot left, we pulled in and got comfy. He provided the lock codes for the bathroom which is nice to know the extra security is there. The bathrooms were nice and spacious. Get a whole bathroom to yourself while you’re in there. The laundry room was nice and warm while doing laundry. ($2.50 for wash, $2 for dry) They worked great. Had full hook ups, $30 a night. Cute little rv park, quite a few long term people it looked like, but everyone we encountered was so nice. Also had to call twice for a couple things and the phone was answered immediately.

Great stop for some rest. Area was pretty quiet and the property is clean, though there are what looks like permanent tenants but no issues and felt safe. Laundry room was clean. I did not use the bathroom facilities so I don't know the condition. Water pressure is great and electrical hook up for 110, 50A, and 30A work great.

For the price, you can't hardly get any better. It was $30/night for full hookups. The wifi was good, and the location to downtown Roswell was close. It appears to have several new improvements. Even though we didn't use them, it had a laundry, coded entry for showers and toilets. Downside: It is close to the road and has what appears to be several full-time residents. Neuther of which bothered us as we were off exploring most of the time. I would definitely recommend Wild Willy's for a multiple nights stay.

A working man’s campground. We stopped here for an overnight stay and our spot was right by the entrance. Easy in easy out with our big rig . William the owner was very nice. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were very clean. Being by the entrance I was surprised at how quite it was. Thanks for a very peaceful night sleep. We will be using your campground again on our next travel to New Mexico.
