Budget Inn

I made reservations online and traveled from WA due to a family emergency. When I arrived, the owner refused to allow me to check in, claiming I did not look like the TWO forms of valid photo ID I provided, including a REAL ID–compliant ID that I had just used to fly to AZ. The owner seemed paranoid, repeatedly mentioning the police and emphasizing that cameras were watching us, which very odd and unnecessary. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Additionally, the hotel looked nothing like the photos online. After the way I was treated, I did not feel safe staying there. Thankfully, I was able to find accommodations elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE!! This cheap motel — we had no choices as we were traveling late with pets in a small town — ran my bank card NINE TIMES instead of the ONE that was authorized, scamming us out of over 1,000.00 MORE than the room was to cost! When trying to sort it out they accused our bank of lying!! Calling the manager was NOT successful, either, and the bank says it could take up to 90 days to recover our ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR LOSS! I had hoped it was an ‘honest mistake’ but they were completely unresponsive and rude when trying to fix this horrendous ‘overcharge’! If you HAVE to stay here, check your charge records carefully!!

My family and I had been traveling from Las Vegas to Quartzite,AZ we had been driving all day and were incredibly tired. I had pre booked the room online and the booking agent said I would be able to take my service dogs, when we pulled up to the hotel and went to check-in at the front desk and told them about our service dogs, they were incredibly rude and refused my service dogs without an ID, which is incredibly illegal.

Not good...Stay one night and leave. Lot of night walkers roaming around. Had one knocking on the door at around midnight looking for someone. Happened a few times. Called the office and nothing but an answer machine.

I would have rated this one a 0. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in so far. As soon as you enter the room it smells like sewage. Rooms are ran down, and pool was not in service. The kitchenettes they advertise dont work and they dont even let you know ahead of your stay. There was a roach in the bathroom, a bug on the bed in which he blamed on our dog. Sheets and towels were stained. This hotel is too ran down for the price .
