Budget Inn Okeechobee

I have been paying weekly rates for over the last several months and I pay so much for the room that I am in and haven't had room service at all and still pay for this room. I am being used for my money to only support the hotels pockets. All's the owner of this motel needs to do is look at the cameras to see that my room hasn't been touched when it comes to room service. I pay $468.00 a week and no room service. I end up washing my own towels at the Laundromat while every other guest gets room service everyday. I am being used for my money just to pay for a room. This room has been neglected altogether. Same bed sheets while all other guests gets room service every single day.

Was there for a week. A place to crash. Make sure to bring shampoo as they do not provide. Came in first day and emptied garbage and stocked a couple coffee packs. Didn’t empty garbage for the rest of the stay. Bed was comfortable. Front desk attendant was extremely nice. A little too much noise while trying to sleep and killed a cockroach first night.

My boyfriend and I just relocated to Florida from Connecticut and this place was what we found. They staff here are very friendly and have went above there jobs by giving us information about apartment rentals near by and so forth. These ladies work hard and are always pleasant and smiling. I would’ve given them 5 stars because in the pictures online it shows there’s a swimming pool but apparently they had issues with the pool. Other than that this little place is a good spot to stay.

Awful Awful Awful!!!! The owners are rude and have horrible customer service skills at best, they are prejudice and treat people less than human, this place has absolutely NO handicap accessible ANYTHING and the owners personally forced a handicap person move (in the middle of a fully paid week) from the most "handicap accommodating" room in the entire hotel to a closet sized room that a human could barely walk around the bed to get to the bathroom or to the entrance door to the room let alone use a wheelchair required for daily living...and they lied about why they were forcing such a move to take place. In addition, the rooms are filthy, housekeepers are lazy and do minimal cleaning at best, yet the owners charge their guest outrageous fees claiming the guests dirtied and or made damage
