Brookside Motel

Reading reviews, I wonder if people are looking for a palace! This is the second time we have been here, and we keep coming back. Yes, the rooms are a little dated. Yes, the bed wasn't as comfy as my home, but not horrible. Yes, there are some cobwebs, it's in the hill full of trees. We think the owners are wonderful, the brook is amazing! You can hear traffic, but it's still off the beaten path. They "upgraded" us to the "queen cottage", it has a queen size bed as opposed to a full. Room was nice, it was very quiet where we are. We had our own swing to relax on. We aren't pool people, so I can't tell you anything other than we saw people swimming. Yes, it's a little dated, but it's quaint and it keeps us coming back. Stayed two nights in a cabin in the back across the bridge, and came back a couple days later after visiting North Pole, and stayed in a motel room, and both were great experiences! The place is very well kept and impeccably clean inside and out, so I can't understand a couple of the other reviews! Traveled with the grandkids and the they loved the pool and playground. Motel room and bathroom were bigger than in the cabin, and had a back door to a yard on the brook. Cabin seemed a bit more private out back; again, both were nice. It was a little out of walking distance for us to the main strip but, on the other hand, quiet and no commotion. Would stay there again!

The rooms are SPARKLING CLEAN 🥰. Simply furnished but in excellent condition and comfortable. Service is friendly and helpful... positively welcoming 😍. Not on the lake so no craziness but we had the most wonderful brook behind our room with a lovely porch. A real Adirondack treat. The pool was great and there's even a shared kitchen. PERFECTION ❣️

I arrived late Friday, I was met with a friendly counter person. I was given a super nice room overlooking the creek. I was happy with everything the place offered. Parking is a bit tight, but we managed. I would stay here again; it is worth the value.

The room was pretty clean, smell good, bed comfortable, it has a pool close to the attraction area super convenience room all. The staff really nice. They clean the room, Every day. The person in the office was nice. Gave me information about the attractions and restaurants near by.
