Blue Lagoon Resort

The resort is great! Everyone we spoke with was pleasant, accommodating and warm. The location is great. It’s in a quiet spot on the lake. We drove into Bolton almost everyday. There’s a cute little store down the street with coffee, sandwiches (amazing sandwiches!) called Up North. The beach is cute esp for little kids. ||The pillows were flat as a pancake. The bedding, aside from the quilts, were a dingy “white.” The bath towels didn’t fit around the body of a 90 lb teenager let alone an adult. My recommendation would be to purchase bigger towels and replace your pillows and sheets (and wash with bleach!). The sheets were very “pilly” and just old. We went to a local store to buy a pillow for 1 person but the rest just piled the others up. ||The room was clean. We liked the updated decor

Our 3rd family vacation at Blue lagoon! We absolutely love it here. The grounds are all level unlike many other resorts in the area leaving me peace and mind that my children can play / scooter here safely. The private beach has many Adirondack chairs to sit and take in the breath taking views of beautiful Lake George. Everyone who stays here are family friendly and we get to see many familiar faces year after year. It’s amazing how people remember us from the past years, and noticed how big our children grew from last summer. It’s truly a clean and safe place I plan on spending many more summers where my children can play in the sand , scooter, bike and just grow more family memories that are priceless. I am shocked to see any review with less than 5 stars! Blue Lagoon is definitely one of THE best places on Lake George to stay. We have been going there for the past 25 years and won't even entertain going anyplace else. The staff treat us like family and the accommodations are wonderful. They are constantly putting money back into the resort so every year there are noticeable upgrades. Having a boat launch on site is also a major plus and super convenient!!! If anyone needs anything, the staff are quick to jump in and help out. If you have never been there, then do it! The fact that the No Vacancy sign is almost always up speaks volumes of the type of establishment they run at the Blue Lagoon!

My family and I have been going to Blue Lagoon for the last 18 years. I have never met nicer people than Tom, Michele, Caitlin and Jack. Caitlin is the sweetest, kindest, honest, most helpful person. She is always so accommodating and conscientious. My husband left his watch in our cabin after the vacation when we first started coming there. They called us and shipped it out immediately. He did not know where he had left it, and they were the ones that called us. What a true display of their honesty and integrity. There is not one negative thing about the owners/managers/employees and the resort that can be said. I cannot say enough nice things about them. We would not consider going anywhere else for our vacation. They are wonderful people that I truly trust and that would do the righ
