Blue Heron Inn

So glad I found this place. I was skeptical at first due to some of the pictures online. I’m glad we came to find out how wonderful this place is. Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are updated but still classic. Hot tub is bigger in person to what the pictures seemed like. We loved the balcony with a beautiful view. . The restaurant on property is fantastic. Great steak and drinks for a fair price. This might be our new weekend getaway. Although the outdoor pool was closed for the season it looked very nice and it was right off the water. I would love to come back during the summer.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My family was supposed to stay in a family suite from June 10-13. I booked the room in April. I had a confirmation email and everything. When we arrived, we were put into a standard room. I went back to the desk to remedy the situation. We are a family of 4. We need more than one bed and i reserved a family suite. It was shown in the confirmation I received. The front desk employee didn't know what to say or how to help. They did not have any family suites available. We were very disappointed and distraught being as we traveled from another state to stay there. We had other plans and reservations in the area during the week. This was not acceptable! Room was nice and roomy, great view of the lake, very quiet, jacuzzi tub was great. TV was a little hard to see but worked well enough, free breakfast was good only issue was one of the yogurts I grabbed was expired. Friendly staff, can't beat it for the price

Great price for room. Great people there to greet you they were always friendly. Room needed an upgrade, but there were signs up saying they were remodeling. One of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. Will definitely put the place to visit again.

My husband and I booked a quick last minute overnight getaway. We had an amazing view overlooking the lake. We didn’t get a remodeled room, but found the accommodations were comfortable and clean. Can’t wait to see the Inn once complete. We don’t come here for the room anyway. We spent some time at the pool, and the Boardwalk. We enjoyed some cocktails and an appetizer. They had live music, which set a great vibe. The refresh of the Boardwalk is remarkable ! All of the employees hustle here. They’re friendly and work hard to serve the patrons. Liane at the front desk was very welcoming and Nicky provided excellent service at the bar. Breakfast in the morning had great options and was consistently refreshed . This has been and will continue to be our go to on Pine Lake.
