Blue Flamingo Resort Key West

I cannot tell you how much my family and friends for our son's wedding enjoyed your resort. We were all there for 4 nights - staff was fabulous especially Ann (the food and liquor manager) was outstanding along with Davaldo - who is one of the kindest and enthusiastic employees I have ever seen. Also not only the staff was great so was the food - all of our party felt the same. thanks again will definitely be back Karen & Bill

Update: since posting the hotel has contacted me. Apologized and is going to offer small refund. I will definitely give them a second chance. I will also say the outdoor set up is beautiful and has plenty for a family to do. First the hotel looks great and the food was great. Staff was friendly. However I had a room reserved for 3 months and was told there were no double queens available. I was there 30mins before check in time. I asked when one would be ready since we were early. I was told there are none at all. Then the pull out couch the room we had to take smell so bad. We called guest service at first they showed up with clean sheets. We explained that wasn't the problem we had clean sheets. Finally after an hour they brought a clean mattress. Also the elevator often quit workin

My husband and I have never been to key west, we always wanted to go. Over the weekend was our 14th wedding anniversary. The plan was to just get in the car and go and find a hotel when we got there. Let me tell you we had a hard time finding one. Book in advance people…🤣. Our stay at the Blue Flamingo was absolutely amazing!!!! The staff went above and beyond our expectations. They knew it was our anniversary weekend and they surprised us with champagne and roses and a card from the staff. We are planning our 15th anniversary for next year there. It was so relaxing and stress free weekend we have had in awhile.

Room size was perfect for family of 7; one double queen and one king with pullout couch.. plenty of space for everyone to relax. Staff was exceptional with Adrian and Jose doing everything that we asked with a smile.full breakfast was truly FULL.. eggs home fries toast coffee juice made FRESH in a kitchen! Davide did a great job as a bartender waiter bus person cashier… with a smile every day.|Popcorn every afternoon for happy hour… complimentary Shuttle bus downtown everyday . Blue Flamingo has it all— and the prices were the best we could find for Christmas Week.|Book it quickly— it will sellout!

Positive: I liked the location and the overall amenities the hotel offered. Negative: I left some VERY VERY expensive name brand clothing in the top drawer of the dresser. I realized I forgot to grab them within two hours of checking out of the room. I contacted the hotel immediately and magically the clothing was not located. Thieves!!
