Bismarck Hotel & Conference Center

Came for a kids birthday party and the kids had an absolute blast they also had a hot tub and a small area for smaller kids as well as a gaming area!! Highly recommend if you have young children the whole pool area was very secure and clean can’t wait to bring the kids for future events! Very close bar and grill area as well as smaller casino 10/10 for everybody

When I checked into the hotel, I told them I had a pet. Upon checking out, I was charged a $200 fee for having an unauthorized pet. I spoke to the manager, Mike. Who said he would take $200 fee off and charge the standard $25 fee instead. I kept checking my credit card statement and the charges never came off. I kept calling the hotel to speak to Mike, but he was never available. After a couple weeks later, I called the hotel again and spoke To a woman who said Mike didn’t have the authority to take those charges off. When I spoke to him face-to-face, he told me the charges would be taken off and I was told he was the manager. The woman also told me if I would’ve told them I would’ve had a pet friendly room. I get that they are shorthanded, but there were not enough towels, none at all in the pool the entire 3 dayswe stayed. Our entire dance team got terrible rashes after swimming. When we realized how gross the water was, we pulled them out, but it was too late. We even had a loud domestic dispute above our room and the girl at the desk (Margaret) said she was too busy to do anything about it. When it got physical, I told her I would call the cops, but didnt know what the room number was and she said she was still too busy to deal with it. Lovely. It's all pretty ty run down and not clean. The location is convenient for events at the convention center. The price was cheap and now we know why.

I moved back 2 bismark and stayed there for 3 weeks. 2 weeks of door key not working, filthy elevator, weight room was missing weights. Crappy breakfast set up. And unauthorized charges for $200 on my card because my room smelt like "i might have smoked in it" when I went outside in camera view... they charge your card hoping you won't notice it. Had 2 change rooms because of all the noise from kids up and down the halls all night. Manager won't accept my calls about my 200 so now im notifying the BBB... stay somewhere else. There's plenty of hotels in bismark 2 stay... save yourself the headache.

Positive: The refrigerator/freezer and microwave worked well and we were able to "eat in" for our whole stay. Negative: We had trouble finding a luggage cart to bring our stuff up to the 3rd floor.
