Bighorn Trout Shop & Lodge

I never leave reviews but I thought I would after the trip I had with Bighorn Trout Shop and Lodge. The fishing was killer and cant thank the guys (especially Finn) for a couple great days on the river. Finn worked hard from the begining of the float to the end of the day and I really appreciate that. The whole expierence was great from the lodging to the food to the fishing. Our group had an incredible time at Bighorn Trout shop. The entire staff were incredible. Our guides knew the river and know how to get you on fish. I was with Cowboy Woody for three days and can’t wait to fish with him next year.

Hale and Steve are great people, over the years they have become good friends. Great knowledge about the river and how to fish it. Quick to share which patterns are working best. It is never about trying to sell you something, it is about wanting you to have a good time and catch some nice fish. Can’t forget Maggie, she is a great shop dog!!!

Our guide FJ is awesome! Always involved in what everyone is doing but hands off if you know what u are doing, will coach if you need it or want it. A guide you would hang with as a friend if your neighbor. Will request him going forward. This was my first time to the Bighorn and can't wait to return. Staff and food was amazing. Accommodations and fly shop excellent. Book with Bighorn Trout Shop!

Had a great time! Aside from knowing the river, Woody is so patient with a couple of seniors who are still working on our backcasts... fun day, good company. We'll be back...
