I have stayed at this facility for 4 years as a chaperone for a high school cross country team. No other place can compare for ease of hosting a large group like a cross country team. The layout with the two cabins makes it easy to divide male and female athletes and chaperones. There is plenty of room and bathrooms. The facilities have always been in working order for us with help just next door if there are any issues. Since they have grills there, we did not have to haul ours up, which was great! The kids love the shared courtyard and easy access to the Village. It is also easy for the athletes to safely leave for a run from the facililty and use the nearby park for stretching and other exercise. I highly recommend this facility!

We have rented out the blue house now several times over the last couple years. We are a church youth group and the house is excellent for groups 30-40. Each time it feels the amenities get better, but overall it is an excellent location and wonderful place to stay. The ownership and managers on site are super kind, helpful, and responsive. The house is clean, kitchen good for cooking for everyone, plenty of space with the game room, free wifi a plus, cozy space for small conversations and also the game room can be converted for large group meeting space. It can accommodate both those smaller conversations as a private place to get away and sleep, or for larger groups looking to intentionally connect. I totally recommend it and look forward to returning!

I am a part of a high school group that stayed in the two houses and I couldn't have enjoyed it more! It was the perfect location, very cozy, and it felt like a home away from home. The houses are located very close to the lake and in walking distance from a bunch of cute stores. We really enjoyed our time here, exploring the town and enjoying our stay at this lovely property. This is our second year going to Big Bear and staying in these houses and we can't wait for next year!

We took a group of 30 people to their property for the weekend. The oven was broken and was unable to be used for any of the 5 meals that we had to cook. We were not told this ahead of time and we led to believe that everything would be in working condition. Had we been able to plan accordingly, we would have asked for a discount, but still used the facility nonetheless. When I discussed the issue with the owner, after going back and forth a few times, the best he was willing to offer was an 11.2% refund. For anyone who has ever had to plan and cook for a group of 30 people, you should be aware that not having an oven is a HUGE issue, and it was for us.

We are a senior high school group of 45 and we rented both the yellow and blue house. With senior boys in the yellow house and senior girls in the blue house this was the PERFECT set up for a successful group trip! Every single student fit perfectly within both cabins; the village, conveniently located just one easy block from the cabins, allowed students to get something to eat, shop and be easily entertained without having to look or pay for transportation; the free wifi, ping pong/foosball tables, board games and TVs allowed for good clean fun in the evenings; and the local lake and picturesque hikes provided the nature we were all looking for! The fully functioning kitchens and BBQ provided the bonding time we wanted and the necessary space needed to cook breakfast and dinner for 45! W
