Best Western University Inn

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Do not be fooled by the photos online because they are a complete work of fiction. The management claims they are undergoing renovations to make the place more fancy but that is clearly a cover for the fact that the building is falling apart. I haven’t seen a single worker or a shred of improvement; it is just a convenient excuse for the subpar conditions. The walls are paper thin and I could hear every whisper and footstep from the neighboring rooms which makes it feel less like a motel and more like a shared tent. The beds are ancient and so squeaky that every time you move the whole room echoes. Between the deceiving photos and the general state of neglect this place is a total bait and switch. Positive: Location is wonderful. I love the charming “western roadside motel” layout. The room has everything I could need and was very clean. The pool and hot tub were a great amenity (though unfortunately quite dirty / dysfunctional). The breakfast was great. Negative: Internet was terrible, walls were very thin. The hot tub was lime green and pool was very cole and quite dirty. Though I got a nice discount on the price, the hotel was still overpriced.

Quiet and clean. First impression on arriving was of old-time exterior doors. Fortunately we were in the back building. 1st night of 2 my headboard fell off just missing my head with rough edged screws exposed. In the morning the front desk laughed when told, said they knew all about that! How, if it had just happened? So apparently they rented to us knowing of the hazard. One of the beds had a dip in the middle. The AC unit sounded like paper crinkling all night. No fix was made to the headboard while we attended a wedding| Excuse was they couldn't find anyone. Well maybe they should've paid doubletime. When getting home we emailed and got a refund for 1 night BUT still had to pay the parking fee for 2 nights. Obviously we weren't University students using Best Western 's lot. That made n

I had absolutely no expectations for this hotel being as good as it was. The people who run the front desk are all local and smart and charming, and they made great recommendations because they know the area. My room was an upgrade and it was so gigantic that I didn't even use half of it. It was clean and the bed was comfortable and they leave the coffee out all day so you can have coffee whenever you want. A really great experience.

The Hotel is in a convenient location, but you pay premium prices for a dump of a room. I can get a nice Suite with a Hot Tub in downtown Denver for the price I paid for this standard room . I also had to pay to park at the Hotel, why? The option was made available for an early check in, so I selected it online - @ 2:00pm I was told “none” of the Rooms were clean yet. I was given the offer to sit in my Vehicle in the Parking Lot for an Hour & was told an early checkin probably wasn’t going to happen due to being short staffed. For the Price of the Room - at least there could be better service.
