Best Western Sunday House Inn

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was a big highlight — there were plenty of places to eat nearby, and having even more dining options just a short trip downtown made things super convenient. For us, having Cracker Barrel right next door and Starbucks across the street was an added bonus.||The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, greeting us warmly each time we came through the lobby. If you’re a rewards member, they make a point to thank you, which is a nice touch and makes you feel appreciated.||The only downside for us was the mattress in our room. It felt a bit worn and didn’t offer the support we needed for a comfortable night’s sleep. This is a solid 2-star motel. Motel not hotel because the doors open to the outside. The rooms are large but everything is dated and worn. Bed linens were clean but threadbare.There are no USB charging outlets. We chose not to walk barefooted on the carpet. If you have mobility or accessibility concerns you'll need to voice those upfront because most of the facility is not accessible. The pool has an accessibility lift but then there is no accessible way to get to the pool.

Positive: Good location, decent pool. Negative: The room was clean but had a strong smell of mildew. We realized their was a slow leak from the sink pipe into the carpet. Told the front desk and they said thank you and sorry.

Room was musty smelling and aged, but at least looked clean. Property was littered and in need of a face-lift. The staff that assisted was friendly and helpful, but next time I stay in Kerrville, I will stay at place that looks safer, is updated, and smells cleaner.

The size of the room is pretty good size, desk facing the window, king size bed, very comfortable, sink located out side of the bathroom, nice. Bathtub/shower was nice, decent water pressure and temperature, fridge in room, microwave, breakfast served in the restaurant next door, decent selection, but the one thing about this size room, was this small tv, probably 19", great picture though. Just one night, but i would stay again.
