Best Western San Diego/Miramar Hotel

Save the scrolling, stay at this Best Western. I never leave reviews, but I had too. They did fantastic job immediately. I had schedule change that they were able to handle and got me right in my room. Room was clean, comfortable and up to date amenities. Still have coffee in the room and the breakfast was great. Mary, running the front desk, handled my situation and got me settled in time for breakfast. Really nice people staying there as well. I had to work from the room and it was perfect.

Another easy stay at this hotel. Check-in was fast and efficient, breakfast ready at opening times (appreciate all the items available). My room was clean, comfortable and I enjoyed a good-night's sleep. The location is also close to the freeway, always a plus. Will definitely return when next I'm in San Diego.

Positive: Easy location close to freeway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Negative: Breakfast not great. There for 8 nights and it was some variety of pork sausage with pre-made eggs daily. Ran out of half n half, yogurt, etc For $--- per night, I would expect a better breakfast. Rooms were outdated, bathrooms tiny. Toilet had issues..

We didn't have a good experience here. The rooms smelled bad, we rashed up from the sheets. We asked for new sheets, but we still had rashes. The bathroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned. However the breakfast was decent. It's easy on and off the I15. We will definitely not stay here again.

The room was clean, the beds are comfortable and clean. No bugs or nastiness as other reviews, a little stain on the chair. Food is ok, nice that they switch it around every day and appreciate that' it's offered. The real five star is the housekeeper and Augustine! Augustine is the the one that made our stay awesome! He went out of his way multiple times for us even without our asking! Genuinely cared for our needs and comfort. I would come back here just because of him and the cleanness of our room. We where here for Marine family and the Miramar Air show for three nights came to 600 something.
